Regular Savings Accounts

Start saving immediately! Once you become a member of State Employees Credit Union, a savings account is opened in your name. An initial deposit of $7 is required which includes a $2 set up fee and a $5 placement into your account. All members must be sure to maintain a $5 balance in their savings account to remain a member, and demonstrate regular account activity to ensure the account stays open.

Additional features of our Regular Savings Account include:

  • Competitive interest rate paid quarterly on the average daily balance in your savings account. Click here for our current rate information.
  • Members can make up to three (3) withdrawals per quarter from their savings account for FREE. After three (3) withdrawals per quarter, a $5 charge per excessive withdrawal is applied.
  • Easy access to your account by logging into home banking or calling ANJI, our 24/7 audio response line at 1-800-659-2654 (ANJI).
  • Quarterly eStatements by mail or electronically when you sign up for eStatments (eStatements arrive faster than paper statements and they eliminate the risk of your financial statements being compromised through the postal system).
  • You can have deposits to your savings account deducted directly from your paycheck by signing up for payroll deduction.
  • Deposit capability from any branch, service center or by mail.

You can even access your savings account and retrieve cash with a convenient VISA debit/check card. If you have a checking account and want to apply for a check/debit card, click here.
